Mentoring
As a Research Scientist in the ENVS Department at Emory University, I have been a lab mentor for both graduate and undergraduatestudents. I firmly believe that a well-functioning environmental lab space should be accessible for all people and skill levels. It should be a place where mistakes are possible and all ideas are evaluated. I hope to teach by doing and learn from my mentees as we work together.
Specifically I have mentored 6 students enrolled in ENVS 494 and registered with Dr. Debjani Sihi: -Casiell Chen -Jack Kagan -Haoyang Li -Marshall McCall -Murray Sternberg -Catherine Wang |

We have built lab protocols together, conducted R training sessions, and brainstormed ideas for individual research topics. I am excited to see what the future holds for the next generation of environmental scientists!
